hi! my name's vanshaj. i'm a junior at uc berkeley majoring in computer science and data science (with a domain emphasis in economics). i'm currently the head teaching assistant/ugsi for cs 61a. i'm interested in cs education and natural language processing, but i also spend a lot of time playing around with different programming languages and web development tools (this website was remade at least 5 times, with different technologies each time; the current iteration uses next.js and is hosted using dna).

outside of cs, i'm interested in aviation. i intend to get a private pilot's license someday, but for now i spend some of my free time flying in x-plane 11 or microsoft flight sim. my favorite route to fly is klax-ksfo, a short flight that ends at home!

what i'm upto

• lambdacooler: an open-source slack watercooler, meant to increase interactions in a large team.
• dna: a python library that makes the process of building and deploying containerized apps quick and efficient
• hawk: a custom start page that makes accessing your shortcuts easier than managing bookmarks.
